FINALLY RECEIVED 2 X £10 vouchers as compensation so that we may go with them again First went 1st Oct now the 28th Oct Took them long enough to respond

letter is drafted. Willprint it tomorrow and send it of. Hubby says dont bother cos he wants nothing more to do with the company even if they offer us a generous discount.

luckily the toilets were open on the sea front so I was able to go a couple of times while we were waiting but we were afraid to move a way from the pick up point as she said he would be there before 8.30 and as it was supposed to be a car we didnt know what car it would be so we could have missed each other if we didnt stand where we were supposed to. We never paid any insurance so not sure how we stand about getiing any refund or compensation.

The service you piad for was not provided,,so they broke thier contract with you, If it were me,,,i would have told the woman i would wait another 30 mins after 2nd phone call and then i would be going home,,I would expect a full refund and i would back all this up with a letter, Knowing me,,,i couldnt stand waiting all that time for bus,,,i would kneed the loo.

the rest of the week end was okay Apart from the fact that we were staying in a north yorks hotel turned out to be a novotel on an industrial estate on the outskirts of Bradford. We thought as we were going to York and Whitby it would be near to one of those so that you cold have a wander around in the evening. There was nowhere to go on an industrial estate.

I would ask the company what their intentions were on this matter. A letter of Complaint explaining pick up point. time date & Destination. Then ask what sort of compensation are they going to award you for all the stress & Inconvenience thats been caused..Good Luck! Linda.

hubby and me had booked just one night away on our own for the first time since having kids. Youngest is now 16 so he stayed home to look after the house and dog... Supposed to be picked up at 6.45am spend a night in a north yorks hotel with a trip to York and WHitby and scenic route across the moors with dinner bed and breakfast.....Left home at 6am walked to pick up point. Got there at 6.30. .. Waited until 7.15... Dont have a mobile but borrowed sons so he could get in touch with us if needed. Phone the office and it quickly said a mobile number to ring so had to redial to get the number written down. She said she would find out what had happened and phone me back. Waited until 7.30 and rang again said she was still waiting for the coach driver to get back to her. 7.40 she rang me back and said they were having problems and a car would be picking us up before 8.30 and picking up 2 others and taking us to york to join the rest. 8.35 I phoned again and said we are still waiting. She said its on its way so just have to wait. Eventually a minibus arrived at 9.10 picked us up then another 5 people and took us to Barnsley to join the rest of the coach. We were just about to go home by 9.10 as we had been stood up since leaving home at 6 am.......What would you have dome?
