Thank you all very much for your offer for vouchers... and for those already sent. Thank you too for ideas for extending their appeal. I'll pass them on. 2 weeks ago at this time, the fire was still burning. It is wonderful how the community and friends have rallied, some with very little sleep, and the children have been able to start school lessons in their freshly painted temporary home. Equipment is still needed so there is an on-going request for vouchers. The school is so grateful for all your help. Gwyn

Thank you all for your interest. Linda That's a good idea about the in-store collection box for vouchers, thank you for that. The school is a primary school, for children from rising-5years to 11years old. The tinies had started school on the Monday, then the school fire was 2 days later,- 13th September. Everyone is working like mad to get the borrowed premises ready for next week. This week the children are having lessons at the nearby animal park, not far from their old school. Lympne is a village and there has been a real sense of loss in the whole community, but grateful thanks and praise for the staff, who looked after the children so well and got them out safely. A fund has been set up to help with resources and because the separate school offices are at present in yet another borrowed building, they are using the old school address and mail is being redirected to the appropriate building. The address for spare vouchers is Lympne School Fund Octavian Drive Lympne, Hythe, ..... UPDATED New Address is shown on KENT ....... 11th October posting CT21 4JG. Thank you so much for reading this thread. Your help with getting the equipment to restock the school would be gratefully welcomed. Any vouchers for school items would be great, including ones for books from cereal packets and those for other items from Persil packets or Tesco. Gwyn
