Hi San - My parents are from Sligo. If you email Sligo Heritage Centre: [email protected] and give as much info as you can I'm sure they will be able to help. The cost isn't very much. Best of luck! Jennie Cawley |

Hi , do you live in Sligo , Ireland ? Could you help me with my search ? Im trying to find the birth records of Patrick Higgins b.c.1858 , Sligo , Ireland . Fathers name John Higgins . I believe if the birth was before 1864 you have to search church records etc. Thats really difficult if you dont live in Ireland ! Can anyone point me in the right direction , ive tried Griffiths valuation and that dosent mean much . Ive also paid to join on-line sites for Ireland and i still cant find it .If you can help in anyway , i will happily pay your expenses .Regards San |
