Hi, I have just recently started makin my family tree, but my Fiance's side is a blur-his family refuse to talk about any aunts/uncles/cousins or siblings. I am looking for: 3 or 4 women, in there 40's/50's, born to C Harkins in the Stirlingshire area, who also had a brother, born in 1948. We have no names for these women, but Im guessing one is called Catherine. If this is you-my Fiance is your nephew. I am also looking for two girls, who will now be in there late 20's/early 30's, who were also born in Stirlingshire, under the surname Harkins, but moved to London after their Parents divorced. If this is you-my Fiance is your Half-Brother, and he only found out about you 2 years ago, we have been given no names, or information about you-we sense some deep hurt on this issue. My Fiance has grown up, being barred from seeing his own family, he is now 27, and only has his Parents and Brother. I am trying to find the people above, for my Fiance in the hope of putting things right, and also for the sake of my OWN son-I do not want him being brought up in this web of lost relatives! If ANY of this information rings a bell, please get in touch....ALL information (no matter how trivial) would be much appreciated!! |
