Thanks for the suggestions. I've just e-mailed Laura Ashley and sent photographs and label codes for the sofa so I'll just have to see if they can tell me any more about it. Louise

Louise, If you ring their customer Services 0871 9835999 and ask them for the phone numbers of the stores for discontinued lines. I think they have about 3 in the country, I broke a vase and found one in the store in the north, and they also found me 2 replacement quilt covers that had been discontinued a couple of years back! Hi Louise Last year, we had new loose covers made for our two sofas by Plumbs. Now they used to do those awful floral stretchy things but believe me, they've moved on! We had a lady come to measure up, so your sofas don't even need to be a standard size/shape. They are really lovely covers, washable, and we are so pleased with their service that we had them make new curtains for us as well. They definitely have a website, can't remember address but will be under Google I should think. Hope this helps, particularly if you can't get new Laura Ashley covers. Mandy :)

I would try ringing their customer services, I've always found them helpful. An alternative may be to buy the fabric and have covers made by an upholsterer local to you - I had a chair re-covered a while ago and the bloke did a smashing job.

Have you tried the web site? YES, read it Jess!! I would guess that they would. They have outlets in most Homebase stores.I think you order the sofa shape and then the covering material(or covers). Dont know how oftenthe shape changes though. Any label on the sofa its self? Jess

we recently won an auction for a sofa that was described as like Laura Ashley. I washed the cushion covers at the week-end and discovered Laura Asley labels. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the sofa, just very slightb fading on the arms. I never shop in Laura Ashley but I've looked on their website to see if the sofa is still made. It's not there. I wondered whether there's anyone out there who knows whether Laura Ashley still does loose covers for discontinued sofas and whether they have a factory shop anywhere? Louise
