Hello..my husband took celebrex for quite awhile but he had problems so went off them..but he can't get them anymore as they have stopped writting scripts for them. we have a friend who had been taking celebrex for her arthritus..she had a heart attack..the surgeon had trouble sewing her arteries together because they had gone all jellified..he said caused by the celebrax...

They have also pulled co-proxomol off the market i'm struggling without it at the mo. The doc said it's becasue it disables your swallowing reflex and that when you are sick on them it can get in your lungs and kill you. Yuck

Hi Susan, my dad was on them until recently and as someone else said they were withdrawn. You said you bought yours from here in the USA, well every commercial I see is saying that they have side effects and if you are having them.. call a lawyer. I think I would do some research on them, sorry if its not what you wanted to hear. Debbie

Hi Susan I am in Australia & have been on Celebrex for osteo- arthritis for a number of years with no side affects,you will need to ask your doctor as you might dave a problem if you take other medication otherwise go for it as I am able to do things I couldn't do before (I have it in the base of my spine). Be careful of some of these American drugs..I was on Seroxtat for 18months thats including 4 months being weaned off when my GP found out about the dangers

Has anyone been prescribed these for there rheumatoid arthritis (or anything else)? I got some from America and they were brilliant - but need to ask my doc for them now and dont know if they are given out in UK or not.
