Is there any where on the net where i can lookf for old newpaper for the year 1969 for chester on the internet. i am still searching for my father and the 2 hotels he worked at any body habe any ideas. Kim

I doubt it, though if there is you could probably find it by googling. Old newspapers are at the British Library Newspaper collection in Colindale (NW London) and local records offices/libraries/local history centres have them on microfilm. You might do better to ask the local tourist board for a list of hotels and then ring them to see if they keep old records of employees. nell

www.uk.olivesoftware*com This site has older newspapers app. 1900. I don't think you will find any of the more modern papers without visiting in person.

Daniel is right, but that site only has selected papers and selected years, it is not comprehensive, and they are national, not local papers. nell
