Red for preference but I can't drink as much of it as white :-(( I may have a glass every night of the week (this is where my typing gets even worse on here lol) - then not have any at all for weeks. Helen- can recommend Rosemount Estate Shiraz (silver label for preference) - about £8 a bottle from the Co-op - deep, full bodied and very fruity - bit like me really! Magsxx |

Red of course! A nice Merlot or any DRY red. Canadian wines are very nice too. I cant drink Chillian wine - gives me a terrible headache after one. Something to do with the finings they use. I love the song by UB40 'Red Red Wine' Deb |

Red lovely, but it does make my lips and tongue an unhealthy purple the next morning white only with soda |

I used to prefer white, but now I am more of a red wine person, with merlot and shiraz as preferred wines. I do like chilled rose in the summer. But the title of this thread reminded me of a David Lodge novel where an American wants to drink Scotch and says that all this 'red or white' stuff made him think the wars of the roses were still going on! nell |
