Hi Emma. I've had cats now for 13 years and now have 12, there would've been more but hey I had to stop somewhere. All mine are in some way related. I found that the older ones don't like kittens because they don't smell like a fully grown cat. As your kitten gets older it's smell will change but having dealt with ferrels I have found that you must follow a cats behavior to get anywhere. I make a point of rubbing my face around there ears and up the side of their faces, do this with your kitten and then rub the scent onto your grown up, hopefully you won't get scratched. I've got 2 sisters (Jade and Poppy) who are pregnant, so if anyone wants a kitten let me know. Better if they go in pairs. By the way the eldest Queen will always rule the roost, my eldest Nerilka keeps my 2 dogs in order, and Romi helps out as well. Shiraz just gives everyone an evil look. |
