Old wifes tales!!

My wife and her sister were both pregnant at the same time and gave birth within 2 days of each other. My mum always said, right from the start, that we would have a daughter, as my wife carried up front; her sister would have a son, as she carried all around. I passed it off as nonsense, but thats how it turned out. Apparently you tend to have more morning sickness if its a girl - something to do with a higher level of female hormones at the beginning. Enjoy your pregnancy anyway.

Congratulations. I've got 2 girls and 2 boys. With Kirsty my eldest I had to have Mivi Ice creams everyday. The one that got me was the combination of Shreddies, prawns and orange sorbet icecream (yeah together), all out the front, didn't look pregnant from the back. Jamie it was peanuts and gerkins, I couldn't get big jars of them in Ipswich (no-longer there) so Mum used to get them for me, carried low. Andrew, again savory, carried low. Loz, Banana Milk, Mars Bars and Naval oranges, carried out front. Even my Grandad told me when I was pregnant with Kirsty it was a girl. I believe in the 'old wifes' tails. Have you tried the needle over the belly or the ring over your left hand? Round and round for a girl and a straight swing for a boy. I loved being pregnant - enjoy it, all the best.

Hi all, I'm 3 months pregnant, and craving fruit, or anything fruit flavoured like mad. So, will it be a boy or a girl? Anyone know any old wifes tales?
