Kerry If they are comfortable once they are on, have you thought of getting a shoe horn? Chrissie

Fill a freezer bag with water and stuff it inside the shoe. Put the whole thing in the freeze. The water will expand as it freezes and stretch the shoes. Crista

Do they fit once they are on? Maybe you have a high instep and the style is not right for you. Nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes......and there's nothing wrong with needing a size 6!

They seemed to be fine in the shop and the assistant said they`d feel abit tight until I`d worn them in!!

Kerry - you could always try stretching them by putting a large potato in them overnight - but my guess is you would be better off getting a pair that fitted! lol Magsxx

Do you think Ben?? Didn`t think of that, maybe I`ll have to take them back and get a stupid 6! x

think it would tighten them up rather than make them bigger

Today I brought 2 new pairs of trainers. One pair for the Gym and the other pair for every day wear!! Both are in size 5, now the ones for the gym fit perfect, but the every day ones, I`ve had a struggle getting on. They are the tighter, white ones and have no laces(if anyone knows what I`m on about) I think they are tighter because of the material and design. Would washing them make them more stretchy??? if thats the right word or worn!!!
