As a lot of you know I had to go for a barium Enema today But have been so upset I cried when I got there, was so worried in case something was really wrong had it done asked radiographer for any outcome he said I had some diverticulosis and a little narrowing which has scared me so much cant settle but he also said you will not get an urgent recall so dont worry. but I am Linda

Hi Jess Diverticulosis he said as I have no pain so that means its not infected he was saying Linda

Linda, don't be worried. Been there, done that, bought the T Shirt. You have a weak place in the wall of your lower intestines which occasionally becomes inflamed partly blocking the passage. When not suffering from it a high fibre diet helps to keep it in check. I did notice that when I had the flu 2 or 3 weeks ago, it started with a normal flu and then the diverticulitis kicked in so obviously the flu bug was looking for weak spots. Altogether now. 'Ouch ouch ouch!'

Of course you are worrying.What a horrible thing to have to go through. I have suffered dreadfully from IBS , a close relative of your bowel problem. A friend put me on to Aloe Vera capsules. I have been on them for a month now and I have not had an attack in that time. They are sold in most health food stores and I get mine from Holland and Barrett. Give them a try.You will feel so much better. They are worth the expence. I hope you feel better soon and try not to worry pet I am sure all is well for you - Hugs Rose
