Just read on Digital Spy that Michael Barrymores ex wife Cheryl,has died of lung cancer just 6 weeks after being diagnosed at 56.....Makes Pinks fund even more worthwhile when you read things like this... |

Thats sad, she had such a lot of worry with Michael. I wonder if she smoked as well..As a funeral arranger I find 75% of people die from smoke related diseases |

I think many would have smoked if they were married to Michael Barrymore. At least she is free from the memory of that man. 56 is no age to die, but then cancer is no respecter of age. Ros |

Very Sad, such a young age! apparently she wanted it all kept quiet....and didnt want Michael to know, at all........ she appears to be the reason why his career went pearshaped......she wasnt there to pull the right strings. what a gutsy lady, she refused treatment...... Bob |

Cancer as Roz says has no respect for anybody regardless of their age be it a young child or an older person. As for Michael himself he is now on stage in NZ playing the male lead in 'Chicago'. John |
