Hi all, I've just returned from watching the cartoon film 'Valiant' with my 6 year old - we both loved it. At the end it reminded us of the Dicken Medal awarded to animals during WW2 - pigeons, dogs, horses and a cat (called Simon I've now found out!). I just found out about a couple of ancestors who died in WW1 this week and often think about what other ancestors went through during wars and hard times. There was a thread earlier about animals and their feelings. Made me think..... Jenny x |
