Had to laugh the other night - I'd been out and when I got home, I went upstairs into one of the bedrooms and heard a muffled miaow I recognised as the neighbour's cat that seems to spend most of its time in here. I couldn't see it, but it had to be somewhere in the room. There was a duvet (with its cover on) folded up on the bed, and this miaowing seemed to be coming from that. Then I noticed the duve was moving! The blessed cat had crawled inside the duvet cover, obviously lost its way and couldn't get out again! I had the devil of a job finding it, and when I finally did, it emerged looking very bemused and sorry for itself. It must have been there for HOURS, as the last time I'd seen it was about 2 p m, and this was just before midnight! I was dreading it having 'done something' in my duvet, but luckily it hadn't. I thought it had just left my house much earlier by an open window, as it usually does, and gone home for the night. I bet the owners were worried where it was. Strange thing is, I don't even like cats much, but this one's always hanging round me! CB >|< |

Hi Harry, No, this story is absolutely true. So is your comment about me being a 'dear lady'. LoL My husband can vouch for that, as he's always found me very expensive. CB >|< X |
