On Roxanne's earlier thread I stated that my family had been signing petitions for some years re the cull. I also stated that we were not against the cull as such - am perfectly well aware that in certain instances animals require culling. HOWEVER it is the manner in which this particular cull is carried out which upsets us. It is not humane and if it is a pure cull why are they against shooting as the bullet would ruin the skin? Ann |

Think perhaps overseas know more about our news than we do. We obviously are kept in the dark about matters pertaining to the culling of seal pups. Very typical of our Federal Govt tho.............. |

Is the media over there censoring reporting of the seal cull? I ask as in the past half hour been on Messenger with friend who lives in Toronto - asked what she thought - was completely in the dark - I gave her the web site and she was horrified. Said she had contacted Global News to ask why they were not reporting this and will let me know if they reply. Ann |
