Hi again CB, Spooky coincidence - we are a three person family with one laptop and 3 PCs. Ben's girlfriend sometimes uses the spare. Thank Goodness for broadband. Gwynne

;>))) Gwynne! In our house, it doesn't matter about one PC being constantly in use - we're lucky enough to have 4 and there are only 3 of us, so if anyone needs to use one, just pop round. CB >|<

Depends. I have a useful translation here of some common phrases: ARE YOU ON THAT **** THING AGAIN? means: I want to play on it. HOW MUCH LONGER ARE YOU GOING TO BE? I want my dinner! GLAD YOU'RE ENJOYING YOURSELF ON THERE I'm watching the footie and ignoring the fact that you've highlighted another programme on the other channel. Of course if I find anything out about HIS family, then he is very interested. He does also find it quite inspiring that you can type a query (such as about power points in Ireland) on the boards and get an almost instantaneous response from someone who knows! (thanks again Joy. He's off to Dublin this morning). nell

After my being a 'sports widow' for the past 30 years, he wouldn't dare complain - he doesn't have a leg to stand on! Anyway, he's highly amused at the weird and wonderful relatives I've managed to unearth in HIS family tree - and it keeps me quiet. CB >|<

Hi, Mostly I'm here in the day. He doesn't have a problem if I'm here on the evenings, though, as it's usually because he's watching something I don't like. And sometimes he's doing music-type stuff on his computer which is beside this one. I'm usually here in the evenings if he's out playing (guitar) with his friends. I don't have a problem with the amount of time he spends playing music and he doesn't have a problem with the time I spend here or doing 'theatrics'. He occasionally nags if he thinks I'm not trying hard enough to find his Allenders. He's interested in the 'friends' I've made on here and I show him the funny threads or ask for help with the quizzes. We've always had differing interests and encourage each other to pursue them. Gwynne

He doesn't say anything, just rolls his eyes:) I do get the impression that really he's fed up with me on the Computer all the time? we did have a Thru-lounge, but without discussing it, he put up a new wall at the weekend making it into two rooms again, YEAH!! Peace at last 'I' thought!:)))) Its our 27th Anniversary today (No funnies about the date:), I heard them all before and made a few myself) so I Might take tonight off? well, until we get back from our meal out:))) My Sister now thats a different story, she's into all this spooky stuff, Mediums, Palm reading, Tarot cards, even joined a 'Circle' where they gets messages from beyond, its not for me but she's happy, but she has the Ghoul to tell people 'Oh her! she's likes looking up dead people, weirdo that one!' Eh! and I'm stilll waiting for a message from beyond to tell me where they were? :)) Carrie

I think my hubby breathed a sigh of relief, when he realised I had at long last something to occupy myself with. He shows a little bit of interest when I tell him that I have been emailing a second cousin in the USA, and a third in Australia. He takes an interest when I ask him a quiz question that I cannot answer. But deep down he is so pleased that I have made some friends. He thought it great when I went to the Wakefield Meet. Is going to make himself available at the Geordie meet, Taxi wise. I insist he joins us later. But most of all, I must tell you all this, that he asks about Gaynor every couple of days. Men are strange folk at times. But they do have a heart. Jenny.
