Well this may not seem relevant but recently I've been watching 'The O.C.' non-stop and have found it really comforting... not sure why... becx

CB, It was only on Granada tv. He is an artist who has been painting for years and the programme was accompanied by film footage of his youth in Salford. A lovely, gentle and nostalgic programme. Thanks for your interest. Happy days

Harry, When I first read your post, I thought you meant Bridget Riley, who is one of my favourite artists, and I was wondering what I'd missed! LoL CB >|<

I'm enjoying Dan Cruikshanks(?) Round the World in 80 Treasures - he's so enthusiastic and knowledgeable - just wish he'd asked me along for the ride!!

hi harry, i love programmes set in yorkshire, the scenery reminds me of the welsh countryside. when i was going through my divorce,as soon as the children were in bed,i would put one of my many videos of 'only fools and horses'on...and they got me through, the worst time of my life. bryan.

Don,t expect much interest in this, but thought that I would post non-theless. just watched Life of Riley, about an artist (not unlike Lowry). Gentle programme; programme at peace with itself. Makes me feel good anyway. The world just seemed a better place for watching it. happy days
