Pink I think Geoff proved conclusively on another thread that all GR people are ultimately descended from Adam and Eve(lyn) of Paradise Row, Eden before they were evicted. So yes, which is nice as I always wanted a sister. You will be glad to know that I am wearing pink today. nell |

I was browsing in a local bookshop today (children had been sent off to look in a sports shop for bootstuds) and I saw this heading 'Difficult Childhoods' between the crime and science fiction shelves. Made me wonder about categories I could fit my family members into: crime definitely - I have an insane killer and some petty thieves in my tree, as well as several policemen for balance science fiction I think some of the census transcriptions would come under this heading! geography where is this place? history what else was going on when my relatives did what they did and did this impact on why they did it? biography speaks for itself computers self-help manuals written in non-tech language is what I need medicine what was that horrid disease gt gt grandma died of and was there a cure? childcare why did so many of my grannie's siblings die? education which school did they go to? nell |
