Hi Jeanette Yes,I found last years leaflet for York history fair,it's says on the back of leaflet 25th June so will more than likely going even though London meets on the same day. Sue |

Thanks peeps! Hiya Andy - nice to be back I can't say I like the idea of a thread not going to the top of the board. I have a thread for helping folks with transcribing on the tips board. As everyone is receiving their discs at different times they may not know of the thread. It's much easier if I can give it a nudge to the top now and again for newbies to see. Let's hope it's as you say Andy and just a temporary thing Jeanette x |

Hiya Jeanette, the only thing that's different is that threads are ordered by the time that they were first started, not by to when they were last updated. So, if you respond to a thread on page 5, then that's where it will stay, rather than leap to the top of page 1. I seriously don't believe this to be a permanent change though. People are commenting on how the boards are quicker though personally I haven't noticed any difference. Andy p.s. Welcome back! |

Jeannette, you missed the world ending! We all sat waiting for GR to go off line to do its updating but it sort of stayed on. No, you are quite safe and among friends and yes, the site does seem a lot faster. |

I've just got back online after having no internet connection for a week and I'm totally confused as to what's going on. Have GR changed things? Should I be on here at this time? Can someone please explain. Thanks. Jeanette x |
