There is a JOBSITE on GR now and I think on FR but it may be one and the same thing. Our local paper(Norwich/Norfolk) has an online service where you can leave your CV - try Eveningnews 24 and I guess other newspapers have the same service. Good luck to him. My 23 year old son is looking to change jobs but is not having a lot of luck so far. |

Vera, this is the email addy for job vacancies - if he just sends his cv to them it may be worth it. The company is going leaps and bounds at the mo and overtaking all the other shopping channels: My son has worked there 2 years now as well as working for Channel 4 and Endemol and he really loves the atmosphere. vacancies@idealshoppingdirect(.)co(.)uk Remove brackets as usual. |

Has he done theatre or tv work? If so - try Ideal World Shopping tv station in Peterborough - not far from you. Google Ideal World Television. |

Thanks for the suggestion Bob, we dont have such luxuries as theatres here, we live in rural Lincolnshire!! He is prepared to go anywhere but it would probably not be worth it for threatre work. Thanks |

Has he tried any local/provincial theatres. I know the pay may not much but it could be a foot in the door. Bob |

My son works abroad and would dearly love to come back to this country but can't find a job here. He is willing to work in any part of the country but preferably a bit city, he is 22, a very hard worker (he has to be, he works extremely long hours) but there just does not seem to be any vacancies at all, or at least he can't find any. He has spent a fortune searching the net so does anyone know of anything? |
