On considering having an affair when I was 21 (I wasn't married just dating long term) a woman I know said..... 'If the person you are gonna have an affair with, is worth losing everything for then shouldn't you be with them full time!!!!!' WISE WISE WORDS!!

Hi, My Welsh Nan used to say 'even if the apple looks sweet don't bite into it too quickly, it could be rotten at the core'. I was an adult before I realised what she meant. But I bear it in mind a lot now. Gwynne

Dad always told his hildren:- Never look down on those you meet on the way up cause sure as hell you will meet them on the way down: In other words treat everyone how you would like to be treated, with respect, honesty.

My dad told me a couple of things. Never go to bed on an argument Always treat people the same, no one is any higher or lower than you in this world, were all human beings. Dont be afraid to ask anything If you are ever attacked, either kick them in the shins or between the legs then run. Yvonne

Upon leaving secretarial college many years ago our business studies teacher asked our class to remember this advice just as we were leaving to go out to work in the great big real world. You can please all of the people some of the time, you can please some of the people all of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time! Advice from Mam - Looks are only skin deep. Dad had many sayings: If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again. There are only two things in life: love and music. Keep your man at home and get tidied up and looking nice before your husband comes home from work. (A little out of date now because most women work as well, but it could still be applied i.e. get yourselves tidied up before going home after your day's work).
