Although this is an old thread the answer to your question is that number 1 Oldchurch Road was the postal address for Oldchurch Hospital. Hope this helps. |

Hi Margaret, House numbers start at around 261. The rest of that side of the Road is taken up by Olchurch Hospital. The last part of the hospital consists of the chapel and Staff accomodation. My Aunt who died last year trained there in the 1940's. She spoke of a museum there in the hospital. It may be worth a try writing to the Hospital. Jackie |

Hello Margaret I live near Romford and I also have the Crow Lane Cemetary burial index. Do you know where your Aunt was buried, if not I can look up on the burial index to see if she was buried there. If you want me to do this just send me your aunts name and I will do this. The cemetary is just around the corner from Oldchurch Road. I am also willing to do this for anyone else who requires this. The index goes up to 1953. I also have the St. Andrews, Hornchurch 1576-2000 index. Regards Liz |

when i worked for Greene king ..we delivered beer to oldchurch hospital and a nearby rugby clubb and there was the remains of a house in the Church graveyard...a vicarige ???? |

I am trying to find out what an address is my Aunt died at 1 Oldchurch Road Romford Essex, did a search for it came up as a church bit strange for someone as young as 3 months to died there , can anyone help me that may live somewhere around that area, she died in 1930 Thank you Margaret. |
