Me wife’s a genealogist, she's a very busy girl, I try to understand her but my head is in a whirl, And sometimes of an evening I feel a little under, All alone and nudging phantoms when I'd rather nudge with her. I'm not the phantom nudger, I'm the phantom nudger’s mate And I'm only nudging phantoms Cause the phantom nudger’s late. You have to nudge them quickly, if you’re slow it's too unpleasant, They say the village constable has phantom nudging sessions With the vicar of a Sunday before and after matins While his wife comes round to my house for tea and nudging lessons I'm not the phantom nudger, She has gone out on the tiles, She only nudged one phantom And I'm sitting here with piles. My good friend Mary's most adept, she's really got the knack, She likes to have a phantom nudge before she hits the sack. I try and lend a helping hand, I dress myself in leather, It's really all this phantom nudging keeps us here together. She’s not the phantom nudger, She’s the phantom nudger’s wife, And when we pluck together It's a phantom nudging life! |
