Lipotrim Weight Loss Program - anyone else tried i

Have heard of Lipotrim in the past but thought I should google for more info.

This stuff is designed for people with a BMI of more than 30. It should only be used if your doctor has OK'd it. As with all meal replacements if you have certain underlying conditions you should not use.

Now of course rapid sustained weight loss is bad. More than 2lbs a week for more than the first month of a diet can mean that instead of loosing fat the body starts to break down muscle. However, remember that it is far more difficult to replace muscle than it is to lay down fat reserves.

If you go on a very low calorie diet you can lower your metabolism. This is because the body prepares itself for famine.

This is what leads to Yo-yo dieting. There is only one surefire way of loosing weight-

Burn more calories than you consume

Hayley - you're right and it's a pity we can't buy will power as well. lol. I asked the pharmasist once if she sold it, but I don't think she saw the funny side!!

Hayley

A friend of mine was on the full diet, so I know how hard you worked to lose all that weight - congratulations!! I don’t think I could do the full diet. Are you still on it or the maintenance?

Hi

I first did this more than 12 years ago and managed to lose almost 3 stone and was almost at target when I found out I was pregnant!! (with a coil in). Had to come off it and managed to put all the weight back on with a bit more besides.

I tried to go back on it a couple of times but always found it much too hard after the first time.

Good luck!

Best wishes

Carol

I wasn’t seriously overweight when I went to the chemist, so she put me straight on the maintenance diet. Over 4/5 months I lost a stone and have kept it off for over a year. I feel now I would like to lose a few more pounds, so instead of going through the chemist again I have ordered some direct from Liprotrim. Since doing this diet I have found I do watch what I eat, but do occasionally have a pig out on naughty food!!! Lol

Good Luck Suzy – you can do it.

I have spoken to a couple of you on here about this diet, which I started a week ago. Just wondered if there are any others out there who have followed it, and how did you get on? If you lost a lot of weight, did you manage to keep it off? Hopefully....Suzy x
