Hobbies and Crafts

Well that didnt last long ;-) ;-) I am back fiddling with cards :-D :-D using some stamps as well, I have a lot of quite narrow cards and envelopes in delicate colours when I won them in a bid, I thought they were a bit wider, but they are pretty and very cheap. so I have joined two together and its a double fold one now ;-) I did get carried away and finished up making seven cards !! is there no hope for me........I have lots of clear stamps but my heat gun broke so now I have replaced it and got some embossing powder....I used to do loads, but diecutting took over, so its nice to have a go again, and not as messy , no bits all over the floor ;-) ;-) ;-)

It is a lovely bracelet Ann,but all the jewellry was very stylish....

I have done some die cutting earlier this morning, one word of warning, I bought from Range X Cut dies some edging dies, and a decorative round one, the edge dies were very long so i cut some and will cut them to fit on my cards, the round one is very ornate and I cut it out but there was no way I could get the flippin thing off the die I did all sorts to release it, so finally realised it needed waxed paper first, so tried again, it came out finally but didnt emboss very well, ...I have one of the gadgets that rids all the bits left in the dies, its the one with a spiky brush at the top and the other end is a pokey tool havent used it much but works a treat with stubborn laborious dies...

I have now put all my craft stuff away until we come back from our break.
although I need to put some made cards in envelopes and cello bags......

Win has left a comment on the blog Jean. I was just checking, there are actually a lot of members registered but very few look in there these days. Wonder if they have forgotten they are members. :-S :-D

Jean I love putting them on the blog but limit them because I am never sure how much space they let me have. I think it is good to share them on there and only wish more people looked at them and offered ideas. Yes I love Ann's jewellery too.

Ann you dont have to add them to the blog its entirley up to you, I just share them with you, Sallie and Jo.. always ready for any input bad or not so bad lol , and swapping ideas. so please dont feel obliged to put them on your blog.... tell me if you dont want me to send any more, I wont be offended, I get a bit carried away , but like to see any craft stuff from anyone else...I love Annx jewellry.....

I was in town on my own this morning so sneaked in a visit to the craft shop and found they have the Hunkydory toppers. so had to buy one and a Hunkydory magazine. £4.99 but had a triple pack of toppers as a free gift (£4.99 worth), thought that was a good deal!

Yesterday I made 5 Easter cards. I am only making fairly simple ones this year, I don't send to people who would appreciate elaborate ones. :-)

And theres more, made lots of cards early this morning , mostly valentines. so off to deliver them to the shop... after I take the pics... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I have spent this morning having fun doing two cards using covers off a rather expensive booklet that promotes exclusive jewellery, the front and back are very lovely
and ornate so I have adapted them into two large cards ....lol.... I will take pics of them when I can so you can see what I mean.... ;-) ;-) I want to do some A6 size cards mainly for dads and kids. but C is coming later so we can give him is birthday cards and gifts.... so today is out... J wants us to go out tomorrow, but I am so hooked on cardmaking I dont really want to go. but must do to try and improve my walking. :-| :-|
