How can I join? I keep trying but nothing is happening!
What am I not doing?
Has anyone been successful in joining or receiving a free book to review?
The only info I have been able to find out is that there was a problem with the launch and people wanting " this child of Mine"
They are lucky, I am still waiting!!!
Pat :-(

If you fancy receiving one of the books after reading the synopsis, then click on the Genes opening posters name and send them a message giving your 'proper' name and postal address.

They have 50 copies to give away - if more than 50 people apply, they put the names into a hat. It seems fairer to do that rather than the first 50 applicants as not everyone spots the announcement when it first appears. It also gives more members the opportunity to make the individual decision to apply for/read the monthly book rather than limit it to the original first 50

'This Child of Mine' was sent from Penguin in Ireland, not from the GR London offices. As long as GR passed on the names and addresses when they should have, any delay in despatch is down to Penguin and then the postal system.

There is a member driven GR readers thread where members decide between themselves which books to read and review. Of course, you have to source the selected books yourself!
