Hello,
Can anybody help me to find the family of a William Howarth born Widnes Lancs 1917? had two brothers John DoB 1914? and George 1920 ( my father) I know William lived in Liverpool married, think he had 4 daughters . John never got married, George passed away 2004, any info would be great as struggling with family tree.

thank you in your research the correct person is Howarth, William Black , I do have the parents name and wedding cert , I am hoping that any living relatives can assist with info as lost touch when we moved away from Lancashire . most of the family seem to have been showmen so that makes it harder to gain info any suggestions would be great

There is a marriage of a George E Howarth to Florence J Briggs 1943 in Middleton, so are the 4 Middleton births (2 boys, 2 girls) starting 1944 more likely to be from that marriage??

If the 1937 marriage of William Howarth to Frances Briggs in Liverpool North is the right William then there is only 1 birth in Liverpool in 1944, but that is a male.

One further Howarth/Briggs birth in Bolton 1955, again male

Shirley, has hit on the right way to solve this search, there are two births
in 3rd quarter 1917 for a William Howarth the one in Prescot being correct,
and two deaths with birth dates that would be registered in 3rd quarter 1917.
