Hi Jacqueline thank you so much if you can send address would be great . I didnt realise you couldn't add living relatives without consent thank you for letting me know. It appears easier to find the search the grand daughters of Ada Lock rather than Alfreds brothers family william and charles is that always the case ?

One daughter is on ER to 2005, but that may mean simply that they opted out of the public version

Start by looking for a marriage for Iris - it's on freebmd

Then look for children of that marriage (one recorded on freebmd)

And if you want to find info about Ada after her second marriage................take note of the correct spelling of the surname on the record I posted

There is a distinct possibility that Iris also married more than once...........

Freebmd is very good but the work is done by volunteers so it is not uptodate so for more recent info you need access to Findmypast or Ancestry etc

Ancestry has a free session just for this weekend

Or go to your local library to see if they have Ancestry on their computers
