I am looking for Barry Dryden birth name he was born at Ashington hospital in Northumberland on 3rd June 1982...any help would be appreciated

He is possibly on someone's tree on this site, although they have logged 1983 as the birth year.
It would be a good idea to message them though, in the hope that you can help each other.

Go to SEARCH ...top right of screen and select SEARCH ALL MEMBERS TREES so that you can send a message to the person who has logged him.

Have you added your and his name to the Adoption Contact Register

If you're a birth relative, you can hire an intermediary who is entitled to look at his files. Details on the page.
Assuming they can find him, they will have to ask for his permission before putting both parties in contact with each other.

Ring your local Children's Social Services. Get an appointment. Don't say anything on the phone except - "Its about an adoption and its complicated". Don't get drawn into a conversation with a person who just wants you off the phone. Say you need to talk to somebody, get the appointment. They will be able to get hold of her file. Ask for a mediator, be advised they charge.
