Looking for son Of Archibald Malcolm Ross named Robin, born 1955.

Sounds Scottish too so you would need Scotlands People website

It's not a subs site I,m afraid

As far as Scottish births are concerned, the nearest to 1955 would be a Robin Andrew Ross born 1956 in Crieff.

There are two marriages for someone (or two different people) named Robin Andrew Ross - 1977, and 1998.
Both marriages ended in divorce

Other than that one, there's a Robin Lee Ross 1957 - a "Service Returns" birth.(An Army birth overseas)
And a Robin Ross 1960 Blythswood (Glasgow).

Was Archibald Malcolm Ross born 1925 Lanarkshire ??

If you look in "Search all member trees", as suggested by Erika, you'll see a Robin Ross born 1955 Edinburgh. The tree owner is Eliza Jane.
Click on "Find out more" to contact her, in case that's the Robin you're looking for.

I don't see any such birth in Edinburgh.

Is Robin his official name? Or could he be Robert or something else?

If Robert, the only one is a Robert Gordon Ross born Leith 1956.
