Searching for Peter John Foskin who was born 18th June 1968 at Cardiff Maternity Hospital in Wales and then adopted after birth. His birth mother was Jane Margaret Foskin nee Rollason [now deceased]. Although his adopted name is unknown, his sister has been searching for him for many years.
She has no other information apart from that. Any information would be gratefully received as would any advice. Thank you

Have you added yourself to the Adoption Contact Register? Have a look here:-

If Peter decides to look for his birth family he may add himself to the register and then you will be put in contact with each other.

Hello Kath,
Thank you for your suggestion but she has already done that but unfortunately has never had any response. As you say, one can only hope that one day he may add his name and then make contact. Here's hoping.
Kind regards,
Gillian

The same page as given above, has a further link about hiring an intermediary. They would be allowed to look at his adoption papers then attempt to trace him. If he gives permission, they can put his sister in contact.

Its unlikely to be cheap, but worth considering.

She is aware of that but unfortunately at her age she is no longer in a position financially to take advantage of that option, which is a shame. Hence the reason I posted this for her just in case something else may come up which could help. Thank you for mentioning it though, it's appreciated.

This firm has a good reputation - check their charges before committing yourself.

She could still join this site as a free member and add her mother's name to a tree.

Thank you to both Liz47 and Rose for those suggestions which are a great idea and I'll definitely register her as a free member and add his mothers name to a tree.
