Born in Surrey. Second initial ‘L’

What have you done to try to trace him?

There's another Andrew Hoy born 1967 in Birmingham. Middle initial R.

EDIT:
also one in Aberdeenshire. Middle initial P.

Where was Andy last known to be?

valicati has him in their tree as born in Seven Kings, Ilford, Essex.
Perhaps that's where he grew up? If that is the case, could he be using his mother's maiden name?

There doesn't seem to be a marriage between a Hoy & a (mmn) unless she'd been married before?

The one born Surrey has MMN matching one of the other names in the poster’s ‘researching ‘

Parents married in Ilford

EDIT

My mistake - not Surrey, but East London, so matches tree

Ah, FMP obviously made an error with the transcription, using K instead of X.

Which brings us back to.....where was he living when you lost contact? Would it help to find other relatives or have you exhausted that avenue?

Although there entries on 192.com for Andrew L Hoy & Andrew Lyle Hoy, the suggested age range is too young for Andrew 1967.

Had he talked about moving abroad? It’s all too easy to disappear if someone puts their mind to it.
