Would love to connect with my unknown cousin Michael J Tomkinson, born in LEICESTER possibly in 1941 or thereabouts.

Suggest you look for his birth on freebmd

Then look for his name together with birth year in 'search all member trees'

If you find an entry which matches send a contact message

Michael and his wife are shown in 192.com at an address in Dover,
"Based on 2002-04, 2013 Electoral Roll and Companies House"
Nothing current.

There are no current phonebook entries for Tomkinson in Dover, but maybe they don't have a landline, or are ex-directory.

From another site (with info re 1991 only) - Michael's birth Dec 1940, and his wife 1943.
A Dover address in 1991.

The home in Dover was sold in 2016.
As it’s relatively recent, why not write to the current occupiers? It’s possible they may have a forwarding address for him.

Will send by PM

Edit - my mistake. It hasn’t been sold. That was no 40. Worth writing to see what happens. Put your own address on the reverse of the envelope so that it can be ‘returned to sender’ in case the property is a rental
