	I am trying to trace my cousins Raymond j born 1945 tony r born 1947 lynn s born 1950 there surname when born was howard there mother Gladys died in 1951 aged 28 yrs her maiden name was lark its just a shot in the dark as for many years I have tried to find them hope there might be someone that can help I I found info on names through bmd. thank you pat

	The Tony R Howard who is on the current Electoral Roll for Kent was born c1952, per Ancestry, and there was a child of that name born in 1952, so chances are he's not the person Patricia is looking for. Patricia - you say, "there surname when born was howard". Does that mean they were later adopted? If so, their surname was probably changed. If they were adopted, you can add your name to the Adoption Contact Register: https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records/the-adoption-contact-register Then, if any of them also signs up to that, looking for birth relatives, it's possible you may be put in touch with each other. Incidentally, I don't see the birth of a Gladys I Lark in 1922-4, though I do see her marriage and death.

	I had trouble looking for Gladys birth but I found that her seconed name irene was put first so Gladys irene was put irene Gladys. Elizabeth told me that tony died aged 40 so its just Raymond and lynne now.i don't think the children were adopted.

	For what it's worth, the house where the family were living in 2005 has not been sold since then, so they may still be there, unless they were only renting. It might be worth writing a letter.
