Welcome to Genes and the Boards.

If you know when he passed away it would be worth getting his death certificate as it might give you some clues.

If you know his age at the time of death you may be able to find his birth registration on freebmd.org.uk

This assumes he was born in England/wales.

You have not given enough information for anyone to be able to help other than make suggestions.

Welcome to the boards, Errin.

I assume you're searching for records on this site.
Hardly any of the helpers on the boards use GR for research, as other sites are better for that.

If you like to give us more details, we'll do our best to help.

What is/was your mothers name?
Forgive me for asking - but was she married to Roger Crosby [ EDIT: No, I see she wasn't ]?
Where were you born? (Haverfordwest ??
EDIT:
Yes, I see that's correct, from your GR tree.)

The surname is Harries, (not Harris) on your birth record, and on her death record.)

Do you know if your step-brother and sister are older or younger than you?

Where have you looked for info

Freebmd is a free site for searching

Do you know when he died . His death reg may give an actual birthdate

Look on freebmd there are two birth regs 1944

I did a blanket search 1940-1945

But was he born later do you think ?

Bearing in mind your year of birth there are 7 birth regs from 1944 -1955

If Zoe was your mum -

her maiden name was George, and Harries was her married name (marriage 1989) - which doesn't make sense as the mmn stated on your birth record (assuming I've got the right one) is Harries.

There are 7 births of boys called Roger Crosby, 1940-60.

None in Wales..

Assuming he died in England or Wales -
and unless he has died since 2019 -

I can only see two Roger Crosby deaths, 1981-2019 - but they're much older. Too old to be your father, I suspect - certainly a lot older than Zoe, if she was your mum:

CROSBY, ROGER EDWARD 1930
GRO Reference: DOR Q3/2001 in DERBY (3941E) Reg E46C Entry Number 83

CROSBY, ROGER WILLIAM 1923
GRO Reference: DOR Q3/2003 in YORK (6611B) Reg B37B Entry Number 214

GR trees have a couple of Roger Crosby entries which COULD be feasible.

But, unless Errin can give a bit more info, helping will be difficult.
The father's death details are the best hope

This site is not the best for finding records - its primary purpose is mutual help
Try contacting the people whose trees include the name you're researching
