I'm trying to find any family details for Albert Walter Tozer. He married Pauline Shirley Childs or Smith Jul-Sept 1962 in Paddington, London
I cannot find births or deaths etc for either person.

Unless you know how old they were when they married, how can you hope to find births and/or deaths? Get a copy of the marriage cert for info

They were together in 1968/9 living in Fulham Road

'Childs or Smith' for the woman means either she was married before, or her alleged father's surname differed from hers

The woman dissolved a business partnership with Renzi in 1981.
Entry in the London Gazette on FMP

Renzi re-married in 1987.

May be living, so caution is essential. He is on ER to 2008

The daughter's birth reg does not have second initial S.................and neither does her marriage reg

Birth cert gives formally Smith

I have tried to find a Smith / Childs connection, but nothing so far.

ForMERly Smith means that was her maiden name.

The answer will be on the marriage certificate, hopefully

The record you posted is available to all, and I checked it when you first posted your request.

Pauline Smith wasn't married to Mr Childs, but apparently used his name for a while.

Or used the name Childs for some other reason.

According to the daughter's birth reg, MMN was SMITH, so a Mr Childs could have been named as Pauline’s father when Pauline married. Perhaps she was illegitimate and her mother later married a Childs

The marriage cert should at least indicate how old each of them was at the time, thus enabling searches for births
