Have you done any research?

Are you sure of the spelling of his forename?

INFO: You cannot add him to your GR tree unless you get his permission.

If there is any chance that he is living, his privacy has to be respected.

Only two possibles on freebmd, assuming the surname is spelt correctly.
1938 - Hendon ( London)

And just possible 1951 Manchester

Enter. Mich* on freebmd to solve the spelling issue if his first name.

The 1938 one died as an infant

The birth of a child named Michael Faulds was registered in Lochgelly in 1937.

You would need to buy a copy of his birth certificate to find out about his parents.

If you think that might be the right person, you an buy the cert through Scotland's People website for £12.
https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

You have to register to use the site, but it's free to search.
When you find the birth entry, click on "Order certificate" beside the record, and then on "Basket" at the top of the page.

Coleen

No one has yet welcomed you to Genes and the boards.

You have given very little information. Do you have any idea when Micheal was born, or where his family came from?

It would be useful to know if you are looking for his parents etc or are wanting to find out where he currently may be and whether he has family of his own.

It is highly unlikely that anyone who knows a Michael will spot your post.

Sorry, Coleen - I hadn't noticed you were a new member. Welcome!

Re Lochgelly -
Looking at Scotlands People, there seem to have been several men named Michael Faulds in the Lochgelly area.
SP shows two deaths (1950 and 1955), and a marriage in 1941.

None of them is the child born in 1937.

Thank you for getting back..

It is very difficult to help you with so little information.

Has Micheal turned up as a dna match? If so, how many cms in the match?
The sugggested family connection eg 2nd cousin, is sometimes not very accurate.

If matches have a family tree on the site then try and see where they fit into yours. If there is no tree or a very short one it is sometimes possible to draw up a tree for the match.

Or are we looking at later illigetimate births.

My first thought was that Coleen was looking for her birth father, but her year of birth seems to rule out that scenario.
