Marriage of army personel

Although I already had the details of my parents' marriage at the Garrison Church, Catterick, during WW2, on the recently obtained service record for my father this is recorded and shows that his superior had seen the evidence.

I have his war grave info. but cannot find anthing about a marriage.

I have looked on Ancestry and Free BDM

My uncle once told me he married Doris?

Can anyone help with this please.
