Can anyone help with his war records please. He was in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, No. 2985028 and died 1940 and buried in Franleu. I know there are lots about him on Ancestry but I can not access the records. If any one can help I would really appreciate it.

WW2 service records are still with the MOD and are not online. Have a look here to see how to order them:-

They will cost £30 and may take several months to arrive.
