I was adopted in 1941, to cut a long story short the person assigned to my case to commence my search some years ago actually found my original adoption file where it had been gathering dust for some 60 years. She gave it to me wished me luck and very recently with the help of Genes Reunited I have found 8 brothers and sisters I never knew I had. Just four weeks ago I had a very emotional meeting on a Railway station with a sister, it was wonderful and we gelled immediately. The story that has unfolded has been amazing you could not make it up. Although birth parents have passed away I now have photos something I never thought I would have. My mother died in Soiuth Africa and I only missed my father by a couple of years
Wonderful stuff <3
