Sound like a solution to a problem which does not rally exist.

If someone is being obnoxious then tell them so. If they persist then report to GR.

In all the years that I have been a member and with many hundreds of messages in my in box I haven't had one.

Hear hear TW
i once had to ask GR to block a man who sent me a really crude PM
which my daughter read it while sorting my mail
and i think if we could do it ourselves like you can on facebook
it would be a really good idea :-D

Hi Phil, I don't know if this has been suggested before, but if we get any nuisance or nasty PM's from other members, (and it's not unheard of :-0)
could we perhaps have a button whereby we can choose for ourselves to block them from PM-ing us, (and alternatively choose to unblock them at a later date), instead of having to ask GR to do it for us?

I don't have a problem and have only ever had to ask you to block one person, a long time ago, but someone here tonight has had a problem. It would kill any upset instantly rather than waiting for a day or so for GR staff to do it, in which time untold more PMs might be sent.
