When are you going to update the census to 2018?

There's 100 Year closure law. The next one that we'll eventually be able to access was the one taken in 1921. That won't be available until 2022.

The 1931 census was destroyed in a fire. Even if it had survived it wouldn't be available to the public until 2032. There was no 1941 census due to WW2.

The 1939 Register, taken on 29 Sep 1939, is available on Findmypast & Ancestry. That was taken so that ID cards along with Ration Books could be issued & young people could be identified for Conscription or War Work.

By the way - this board was originally set up by GR for members to make suggestions for site improvements. Unfortunately its was abandoned many moons ago.
If you have a general query, such as about the Census, it would be better to post on Genealogy Chat where other members would be happy to give advice.

If they can't help with, say IT/Tree access problems, then its best to email GR support
