There is a John Goble married to Elizabeth Dunk in 1798 in Rolvenden. I was in the churchyard there yesterday and there are several Goble family. Dunk was a local name too. Look on Mid Kent Marriages under Goble. I have these in my tree too. Sonya

I have John Goble married to Elizabeth (?) and their children, now I am searching for any info on John's Parents or siblings.
This seems to be the challenge - maybe he came from some place other than Kent?

several Public Family trees on ancestry seem to know that John got married on 28 November 1813 to Elizabeth .
..... but none of them have a surname for her, and none have any documentation!!

Can someone please help me find the ancestors of John GOBLE born C 185 probably Caterbury, Kent.
My GGGrandfather was James Goble. His parents were JOHN GOBLE c: 1785 and Elizabeth unknown (possibly Collins) and he was the youngest of 7 children, all born in Kent.
James was born in 1827, and died in South Australia in 1887. (He married Caroline Harris, also born in Kent, in Caterbury, Kent in 1852)
James, his wife Caroline and baby Elizabeth sailed to South Australia when Elizabeth was 7 months old, (late 1853) on the ship SS "Epaminondas".
Elizabeth Catherine GOBLE was the eldest of 11 children and the only one born in Kent, the others were all born and died in South Australia.
