This is Lily Bowman's birth record on GRO.

It gives Marriott as the middle name, shown as just the initial M on FreeBMD as posted earlier by Chris.

It doesn't give a mms.

Just to say that I managed to find the Articals in Nottingham Evening Post 1916 and 1919
It's so sad when you read them The Nottingham Library has lots of info there

I couldn't find the 1911 Cenus for Henry Marriott and Louisa Marriott and children
I wonder if some one could send it to me Please it's missed spelt ????

Also Leslie Marriott born 1904 any idea which Church he was Bapsised Please

on the 15th inst. Elizabeth Marriott, of Corby, was committed for one calendar month's hard labour for cruelly beating and breaking the leg of a child, four years, and she was further comitted for 21 days unless she paid the costs.


13 May 1882 - Grantham Journal - Grantham, Lincolnshire, England

Matthew Elsom, Edward Puxley, and Elizabeth Marriott, all of Corby, were charged by the Corby Sohool Board with neglecting to send their children to School, and an order was made in case.

I have been in touch with Wendy before did doesn't sound as though she would have an answer to the children I am looking for

Maybe Henry Marriott thought that was how you treated children ??
