(yes, Genes will have them, thought local libraries have access to Newspaper Archives, regardless of County)

I really don't understand Olive, lol, thought you have access to Genes Newspapers...

Look at top right of page here, see 'Search', then British Newspaper Archive, is on left...then just fill in those boxes as I told you below earlier...


(fill in search boxes as below) will then be 4th article in results list.

Olive - you asked earlier in the thread which church various couples were married in.

Enter the reg details - year, quarter, volume and page - on http://www.marriage-locator.co.uk/ to see if there is a result. It only works for marriages to 1911.

I hadn't come across that website before. Now I feel the urge to go through the whole English side of my tree and find out where all the marriages took place!
