Viewing your Family Tree

If you click on Family Tree and then 'My Tree' from the dropdown picklist, your tree will open in a new window so you must make sure you allow pop-ups.

If this is not successful then please try pressing control and F5 on your keyboard. This will clear your cache and refresh the page.

The first view you see will be of the tree builder immediate family page. This is where you can add names. At the top of the page you will see other views - full family, ancestors, descendants and list. Select the view you wish to see.

To search for a relation in your tree, click on the 'Search Tree' tab in the top right hand corner of the page and a search box will appear. Enter the details of the relation you want to see and click on 'Search'. In the search results click on the name of the relation you want to see and you will be taken to their place in your tree. You can also do this when viewing other member's trees too.

You can click on any name in your tree and view the details for each relation in full. You can either click on the 'edit' tab below the relation's name or on the little tab with two arrows in it on the top right hand side of the tree page which will open the edit details screen. When you click on the tab there are 4 sections:

1) Details - where you can add and edit details about your relative.

2) Photos - where your photos are stored.

3) Lifeline - where you can see the details of key events in your relative's life and where any attached records are shown.

4) Records - where you can see the specific records you've attached to that relation.
