The Waterloo Medal Roll was the first military award issued to all ranks that fought in the Battle of Waterloo, as well as the preceding conflicts at Ligny and Quatre Bras. This medal was the British Army’s first campaign medal, awarded to almost 37,000 Waterloo veterans.
