Hi Kirsty, thanks for your reply. My father was born 1930 and yes this gives me some idea of when his parents married, I did order a marriage certificate but the address didn't match with the address on my fathers birth certificate. I ordered his army records but this didn't tell me anything at all about his parents but it did state that he had a brother but again I don't have his name or dob. He also had a sister but they never kept in contact, I have no dates for her either! All I know are his parents names and where they were living when he was born, many thanks, |

Hi Brian and many thanks. I found that marriage and ordered the certificate but as I said in my reply to Kirsty the address was different, I know this doesn't mean it's not them but I have no way of knowing if it is! Thanks for those other dates, I'll see if I can make a connection, cheers |
