Hi, I would like to find out the parents names of Margaret Hall 1834 Norham Northumberland. Her mothers maiden name also if possible to see if I can disregard this link as a connection with the Darling family. |

If this is her on the 61 census, the children are too old for her to have married in 1859 unless, of course, they're George's from a previous marriage. |

Problem with the 1841 and 1851 Censuses is that neither Norham nor Workam are mentioned, either in birth place nor in where living. |

No, Sylvia, I don't buy the theory of Margaret being married before because on the marriage record she was Margaret Hall with a father John Hall so that had to be her maiden name. |

I just wondered 'cos I couldn't find a Margaret Hall on the 1851, and went with Margaret Thompson with father! |

I even wondered if the family we're tracing is not George Smith & Margaret Hall but George Smith and another Margaret. |
